The North Dakota Women's Network is seeking nominations for our 2023 Annual Awards.

We offer three award categories, each with their own unique criteria, to celebrate the accomplishments of
North Dakota's most remarkable individuals and organizations.
​
Help us uplift the work of those most deserving of recognition!
All award recipients will be honored at the NDWN Awards Banquet on Saturday, October 14, 2023 in Bismarck.

Nominations are due July 31, 2023

The Distinguished Leader Award will be given to one (1) individual* each year.
The key to this award is an established record and diverse scope of work.

Nominees must demonstrate leadership or excellence in at least two (2) NDWN mission areas and will also be scored on sustainability, impact, and longevity of their work. 

*Previous Woman of the Year Award recipients, previous Annual Award recipients, NDWN Board Members, NDWN staff, and family members of NDWN Board and staff are NOT eligible for this award.
The Significant Impact Award is designed for individuals* who are newer to advocacy work, or have a more focused scope of work.

Up to three (3) Significant Impact Awards will be given each year. Nominees must demonstrate leadership or excellence in at least one (1) NDWN mission area and will also be scored on the impact of their work.

​*Previous Woman of the Year Award recipients, previous Annual Award recipients, NDWN Board Members, NDWN staff, and family members of NDWN Board and staff are NOT eligible for this award.
Nominees for the Outstanding Supporter​ Award will be submitted by NDWN staff and Board members ONLY.

This award will be presented to individuals and organizations that have shown outstanding support in uplifting and amplifying the work and mission of NDWN.

Up to three (3) Outstanding Supporter Awards will be given each year. 

Submission Process

  • Review each award category above to determine if your candidate matches all criteria.
  • As a reminder, you must identify the NDWN Mission Area(s) in which your nominee has demonstrated leadership or excellence. More information about NDWN's Mission Areas can be found here.
  • Submit your completed nomination form and letter online (below); OR email all items to director@ndwomen.org; OR mail all items to: ND Women's Network, 1929 N Washington Street, Suite W, Bismarck, ND 58501
  • Nominations are due July 31, 2023
  • A review committee comprised of NDWN Board of Directors and staff will choose award recipients from the submitted nominations. Each nomination will be scored based on how closely the individual's work aligns with the award criteria and the impact of the nominee's work. 
  • A nominee may be moved to another category at the discretion of the NDWN Awards Committee if they feel the nominee better fits the criteria of that award.
