CALL TO ACTION: PAID FAMILY LEAVE

Paid Family Leave can help working people be present for their families during critical times while easing the economic burden of extended time away from work. Lend your voice to make sure this concept keeps moving forward in the Legislature.

A bill supporting the creation of a voluntary Paid Family Leave program has been amended to a study by the committee. HB 1441 received a DO PASS recommendation on a 9-5 vote.

While it means the program will not be created this year, we feel this is a fair step forward. We encourage you to contact your representatives and ask for a YES vote on HB 1441.
