January 25, 2013 Legislative Update

Next week is a critical week for women in North Dakota. Numerous hearings will be held which have a direct negative impact on women. Below are a list of hearings. Click here for the updated tracking grid.


Your support is needed in particular on legislation intended to severely restrict women’s reproductive health. We need to show the committees that we will not stand for the attacks on women’s health. Many of these bills have no exemptions.

Contact members of the Senate Judiciary to ask for a Do Not Pass recommendation on SCR 4009, SB 2302, SB 2303, and SB 2305. Tell them that private medical decisions are not for the government to decide, but only for women and her family.
