Legislative Update Week 2

​News from the Capitol

Next week is a busy week for women's equality! On Wednesday, January 21st starting at 9am, the House Industry, Business, and Labor committee will hear three bills regarding Pay Equity. We NEED your involvement on these bills. If you can attend the committee hearings on Wednesday morning, we strongly urge you to do so. Additionally, ask the members of the committee to give House Bills 1257, 1293, and 1294 do pass recommendations. Tell them that pay discrimination is real and these bills are helpful tools to address the problem. If you have a story to share, reach out to me so that we can help you get that to the committee.
