NDWN Annual Awards – Nominations open
To celebrate the accomplishments and uplift the work of even more remarkable individuals in North Dakota, we are excited to announce our new NDWN awards structure! Beginning in 2022 will we be giving awards in three categories. All award recipients will be honored at the NDWN Awards banquet on October 8, 2022 in Bismarck. Nominations are due July 29, 2022.

About the new awards:

• Distinguished Leader Award – The criteria for this award is very similar to our previous Woman of the Year award. The Distinguished Leader award will be given to one (1) individual each year. The key to this award is longevity of work and a diverse scope of work. Nominees will need to demonstrate leadership or excellence in at least two (2) of our mission areas and will also be scored on the sustainability, impact, and longevity of their work. Previous Woman of the Year award recipients; NDWN board members, staff, and their families are not eligible for the award.

• Impact Award – The Impact Award also has similar criteria to our previous Woman of the Year award, however, this award is designed for individuals who are newer to the work, or have a more focused scope of work. Up to three (3) Impact Awards will be given each year. Nominees will need to demonstrate leadership or excellence in at least one (1) of our mission areas and will also be scored on the impact of their work.

• Outstanding Supporter Award – Nominees for this award will be submitted by NDWN staff and board members only. This award will be given to individuals and organizations that have shown outstanding support in uplifting the work and mission of NDWN. Up to three (3) Outstanding Supporter Awards will be given each year.
