Bismarck Valerie works as a cultural resource officer for the state Department of Transportation, where she works with area tribes and levels of government. She holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and has studied and interned in social work.
Valerie is a social justice advocate who is passionate about the right of self-determination for all people. She wants to see improved access to affordable childcare in the state, as well as livable wages for the workers trusted entrusted with caring for those children. She also seeks to ease the financial burden of reproductive healthcare, which rests disproportionately on women. |
